And since the turn of the twenty-first century, curly hair-styles are making a great come back.

Curly hair-styles and waves add texture to the hair, and in the twenty-first century, it’s all about texture. Popular stars like Nicole Kidman and Will and Grace star, Debra Messing sport those natural curly hair-styles, and are the envies of millions of American women. If you’re like most ladies, you weren’t born with naturally wavy hair, you don’t want to spend hours or even thirty minutes in the morning creating a beautiful curly hair-style, and who has their own personal stylist at their beckon call? Thankfully, there are some great permanents out there in the salon world that offer women easy and quick curly hair-styles that look great.

Different types of curly hair-styles can be achieved by different rod sizes when getting a permanent. If you’re looking for a spiral curl, then explain to your stylist that this is the look you want, but even spiral permanents can be done on different size rollers. So prior to visiting any salon for a permanent, have a picture or several with you to help the stylist understand the curly hair-styles that you like. Together, you and the stylist can decide which of the curly hair-styles best suits your hair type.
